Complaints Investigation

Local authorities, NHS Trusts and national charities providing care services are increasingly looking outside their organisations for people who can provide impartial assessments of the validity of complaints from the public.

A large part of our work is concerned with investigating complaints for local authority social services departments and thirty departments have commissioned our services to date. Investigations have ranged across all client groups and our particular expertise lies in the examination of very complex and challenging issues raised by users of social services.

Joint Investigations

New developments are occurring in services jointly run by health and social services authorities. Complaints investigations are increasingly being undertaken jointly as services benefit and it becomes obvious that concerns lie in the blurred boundaries between the two organisations.
